Let's Talk RPatz, shall we?
So, RPatz is that guy who's going to bring Edward "BITCH, I TOLD YOU I LOVE YOU NOW MAKE ME A SANDWICH!" Cullen to the big screen. And girls have been screaming over what a hottie he is and how he's the perfect Edward and yadda yadda yadda.
Please note: the perfect Edward? Would not be British. He was from Boston in the early 20th Century. That would mean a strong Bostonian accent. NOT a British accent. Yes, they are different. So, anytime Meyer mentions her "vision" being brought perfectly to film? LOL NO.
Anyway, RPatz. I like him.
Because he hates Edward, appears to hate everything to do with this movie and the books, and possibly the fangirls as well.
Okay, let's chronicle what he's said re: being in the film.
He's shown up at just about every Twilight related event looking and sounding like he was stonedoff of his ass.
His comments on Edward in Empire Magazine: "When you read the book," says Pattinson, looking appropriately pallid and interesting even without makeup, "it's like, 'Edward Cullen was so beautiful I creamed myself.' I mean, every line is like that. He's the most ridiculous person who's so amazing at everything. I think a lot of actors tried to play that aspect. I just couldn't do that. And the more I read the script, the more I hated this guy, so that's how I played him, as a manic-depressive who hates himself. Plus, he's a 108 year-old virgin so he's obviously got some issues there."
Rupert recently lost a bet to actor Robert Pattinson, who was once part of the Harry Potter cast in a previous film, and insisted that Rupert read the bestselling book. Rupert is now "stuck reading 'Twilight'" and that Rob was just texting him to see how far along he was getting.
Rupert admitted he had only read the first five chapters of the bestselling book and we just informed him that there were three more books in the series. "No, really, are you serious? I thought there was just this one book?" Only now realizing he has to read three more, Rupert took his phone out and sent another message to Rob. By the looks of things, we can bet it wasn't a very pleasant message.
Robert has stated his favorite of the series is the next one, New Moon. Interestingly enough? Edward's presence in the book is limited to the very beginning, the very end, and voice overs in Bella's head. So basically his favorite one? Is the one where his character isn't in the brunt of the plot.
Oh Rpatz, don't worry. Odds are you won't get to make more than two movies anyway? Even if they are already planning sequel. Based on soundtrack sales.
