Further Twilight Comments:
i'm sorry , but most of the people who wrote on here ARE most definitely overreacting.
yes , granted , everyone is entitled to their OWN opinions , but you can't post something like this about a book that is no doubt EXCELLENT and expect people to follow along with your opinions and i mean , come on , you had to expect some people to get mad.
stephenie myer is a great writer and i think it's wrong for so many people to be saying she's not.
especially since alot of the people on here haven't even read the books.
newageamazon : you're being pigheaded and stubborn.
i agree with you completely about there not being anything romantic about abuse and there is DEFINITELY no excuse for abuse to go on. whether it's emotional , physical , sexual or mentally.
but ; you can't let what you've seen in the past or what's happened in the past make you into a bitter person and/or think that any type of relationship that you read about or watch has some type of abuse behind it.
and if you watched buffy or angel on a regular basis , you would realize that angel isn't always the best boyfriend type anyways.
i love both angel and spike from the angel &the buffy series ; but if you're telling people that they're better off liking someone like angel , then you really must have something against stephenie myer or the twilight series in general.
if i recall correctly ( and i know i do ) angel and buffy got into quite a few fights , and i mean that as in fist fights. not to mention the fact that angel was also very controlling he ALSO left because he thought it would 'be better for buffy.'
so you see , there is nothing wrong with the FICTIONAL (and i stress that word greatly) character ; edward cullen.
get over whatever grudge you have with two people being in love.

i think that in fact your past HAS made you bitter &mean and you really don't like the fact that edward and bella AAAARE in love.
